Rail Project Engineer Dublin
Are you an experienced Project Engineer who has worked in the Rail Sector? Would you consider a move to Ireland to work for one of the biggest Train Operating Companies in Dublin?
As Project Engineer you will support on Rail Fleet projects to ensure that all initiatives meet the relevant requirements through all project phases from specification through to project completion. You will work with technical services to support the running of ageing fleets as well as introduction of new fleets and traction changes.
What you will be doing;
- Preparation and execution of project plans for assigned projects, and identifying resources require to deliver against these.
- You will ensure that design decision are made in accordance with project plans
- Identifying and managing potential risks whilst adhering to company policies, standards, procedures and safety.
- You’ll produce instructions and specifications in line with fleet requirements and prepare engineering designs and specifications for rolling stock.
- Managing technical evaluation of the procurement process and design phases of the project.
- Involved in commissioning, testing and engineering change of any projects and managing failure investigations and testing where required.
What you will have;
- Engineering qualification to HND Level minimum
- Strong technical knowledge in the rail/rolling stock sector
- You’ll be a good communicator and have good planning and organisational skills
- A strong safety focus and knowledge.
- You’ll have previous experience working in a project focussed environment
- A good understanding of technical standards and procedures
