Supply Chain Buyer Manchester
A leading engineering supplier is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Buyer to join their team in Manchester due to winning a major new client.
You will be required to develop strong relationships with supply partners and helping to negotiate the best deals for the group to consider quality, cost and timely delivery of products.
You’ll be required to effectively manage and optimise the flow of stock into the business and oversee the order fulfilment process. Managing supplier reports and ensure the business remains within defined inventory targets and reduce exposure and liability to obsolete stock. Working with internal teams to identify improvements to services and products.
What they are looking for;
- Previous Supply Chain exposure within an Engineering/Manufacturing based industry
- Exposure to ERP and MRP systems
- Good IT literacy to include MS Office, particularly Excel
- Customer and supplier focussed with a drive to provide consistently high levels of service
The role is Monday – Friday based in Trafford Park, they offer excellent benefits to include;
