Quality Assurance and Training Manager                                          Derby

 

A long established family run business is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance and Training Manager to work in their busy engineering Department.  The role is based at their site in Derby working Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 and Friday 08:00 – 14:30.

As the QA and Training manager you will ensure shop floor training logs are updated and in order and that all working practices are up to date and relevant.  You will help to complete internal audits and carry out external audits when required.

You will complete ISO 9001 & 14001 audits annually ensuring the business remain compliant at all times.  You will also be required to assist with writing Training Portal Questions and internal training of staff when required.    You will assist the Production Director with projects and associated quality documentation and assist with inductions when required.

  • Experience of reviewing, producing and delivering training.
  • Experience in developing, implementing and managing quality assurance processes. working within a similar role.
  • Exhibits qualities in setting high standards and expectations, leading by example and providing vision and motivation.
  • Ensuring issues / changes are achievement within the required deadline.
  • Effective and professional communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Detailed oriented and ability to multitask.
  • To be able to effectively work as a team, taking on feedback and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accredited as an ISO lead / internal auditor.
  • Possesses a recognised quality qualification and accreditation.
