Job Description
PAY RATES:
PAYE - £17.71p/h weekdays, £19.96p/h weekends
Umbrella - £22.79p/h weekdays, £25.77p/h weekends.
Assignment hours per week:
37 hours (average)
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, potentially a Saturday if required
7am – 3pm
Description of Role:
We are seeking Mechanical Fitters to carry out wagon repairs at a Rail Depot in Nottingham. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Performing exams and mechanical fittings
- Heavy overhaul of the underframe
- Fault finding and rectification
Ideal Candidate:
Traction & Rolling Stock background in a similar environment but welcome individuals from a heavy engineering background who are trainable, such as but not limited to: Ex Forces, HGV, Diesel/Plant etc.
Welding experience to perform repairs and maintenance on wagons.
NVQ Level 3 with a mechanical bias.Monday to Friday, potentially a Saturday if required
Fulls drivers license and willing to travel between locations.
