We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Workshop Technician to be based at our clients site in Portbury, Bristol.  The workshop facility is fully equipped for the overhaul and repair of various types of rotating machinery.  Working on behalf of their customer, you will ensure quality and improvements are made to the rotating equipment.

You’ll be involved in the assembly, operation and testing of pumps and associated rotating equipment in their state of the art workshop.   Collaborating with the global network to ensure the availability of spare parts for efficient operations. 

They are looking for someone with a good mechanical assembly/fitting background ideally within rotating machinery/pumps/motors etc.  You will have a good all round mechanical engineering background and able to follow instructions/drawings.  You will be able to work independently in a workshop environment and have good problem solving skills and can do attitude.

They offer salary of £36,976 plus 10% annual bonus, plenty of overtime opportunity, working Days Monday – Friday  as well as 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), contributory pension and other benefits.
